Terms and Conditions — Freedom Painting KC Giveaway

1.    Sponsor

The sponsor is Freedom Painting KC LLC ("Sponsor"), Kansas City.

2.    Giveaway Period and Drawing

Entry opens immediately and ends at the time of the drawing. The drawing will be held on May 1, 2027 by a verified random selection process and processing system. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device.

3.    Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, immediate family members of Sponsor and its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other parties connected with this giveaway are not eligible.

4.    How to Enter

   Paid entries: $10 = 1 entry; $35 = 5 entries; $75 = 10 entries. Purchase is required for paid entries.

   Painting subscription: purchase of Sponsor’s painting subscription grants 5 free entries (payment must be completed).  

 

   Additional entry opportunities (require purchase first as stated below): follow @freedompainting_kc on Instagram (1 entry); like and follow Freedom Painting KC LLC on Facebook (1 entry); submit a 5‑star Facebook review (5 entries).

   Paid entries or subscription purchases must be completed before completing any additional entry opportunities for those additional entries to be valid for this drawing. Sponsor may impose entry limits and will announce them if applicable.

5.    Prize

One (1) winner will receive either (winner’s choice): (a) a credit toward exterior house painting of one home, or (b) a credit toward a full cabinet refinish. Prize is one or the other, not both. Total credit value: up to $7,000 for labor and materials. If the project quote exceeds $7,000, the winner is responsible for the remaining balance. Credit applies only to work performed by Sponsor and must be used at a property and scope approved by Sponsor. Any permits, inspections, upgrades, or services outside agreed scope are winner’s responsibility. Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

6.    Award Delivery and Completion Timing

Awarded work will be delivered and/or completed in summer 2027 according to the schedule of Freedom Painting KC LLC. Scheduling is subject to Sponsor’s availability, weather, material lead times, and other conditions. Any portion of the credit unused after the awarded project is completed will be forfeited.

7.    Winner Selection and Notification

Winner will be selected at random on May 1, 2027. Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winner via provided contact information. If a potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, an alternate may be selected. Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, and any other requested documents within the specified time; failure to do so may result in disqualification.

8.    Taxes and Fees

All federal, state, and local taxes and fees associated with acceptance or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner may be required to provide tax identification information for reporting.

9.    Publicity

Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes winner’s consent for Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness, city/state of residence, and statements about the prize for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

10.    Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy practices. By entering, entrants consent to Sponsor’s collection, use, and disclosure of their information for giveaway administration and promotional purposes consistent with these terms.

11.    Release and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, agents, representatives, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, entry, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, or from any scheduled work. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, or misdirected entries or failures of electronic or mechanical transmissions.

12.    Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry that tampers with the entry process, violates these terms, or acts in a disruptive or abusive manner, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

13.    Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where Sponsor is located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that state.

14.    General Conditions

Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impair the integrity of the giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between entrants and Sponsor concerning this giveaway.
